Easily one of my all time favorites--one of the best assignments I ever had to complete in undergrad was for an art appreciation course. We were asked to choose a painting, and then respond to it in writing. I wrote a poem about this Breton painting. It strikes me every time I turn the corner and see it at AI Chicago.

Thanks for posting it.
